General Liability

1. Acknowledgment of Risk

I, the undersigned parent or legal guardian, understand that participation in educational classes, workshops, clubs, and activities at The Homeschool Hut involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to minor injuries, accidents, illness, or property loss. I voluntarily allow my child to participate with full knowledge of these risks.

2. Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless The Homeschool Hut, its owners, instructors, volunteers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury that may be sustained by my child while participating in activities at The Homeschool Hut or while on the premises.

3. Drop-Off vs. Stay-On-Site Classes

I understand that:

Some classes are drop-off, and I am responsible for ensuring my child is picked up promptly at the end of class.

Some classes require parent/guardian to remain on site, and I agree to follow the instructor’s requirements.

The Homeschool Hut is not responsible for supervision outside of scheduled class times.

4. Medical Authorization

In the event of an emergency, I authorize The Homeschool Hut staff or instructors to seek medical treatment for my child if I cannot be reached. I understand that I am financially responsible for any medical expenses incurred.

5. Behavior Expectations

I understand that respectful behavior is expected. The Homeschool Hut reserves the right to remove a child from a class or activity if behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate. Refunds may or may not be issued at the discretion of The Homeschool Hut.

6. Photo & Media Release (Optional)

7. Property Responsibility

The Homeschool Hut is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought to class.
